Staples Answers The Call To California's Wireless Headset Law!

Hands-free laws are going into effect across the United States, In addition there are also States that are banning cell-phone use completely. California has 2 new laws going into effect on July 1st, 2008 one of the laws (SB1613) allows a driver to use a cell-phone if there is a hands-free device used. The other California driving law is Senate Bill 33 (SB33). Senate Bill 33 bans drivers under the age of 18 from using any type of wireless device in a moving vehicle.

At Circuit City and Best Buy they wanted $75 for a headset with a microphone for my cell phone. Working through the friendly and ever so helpful "that was easy" people at Staples, we were able to come up with an alternative. These kits are compatible with any mobile phone and one size fits all.

How innovative is this? The cost for the wireless device pictured here, and pictured above, cost only...$0.08 Fully compatible with with Motorola, Sprint, Verizon and Nokia cell phones. It might be a little tricky with an iPhone. By the way, I think the people at Motorola will still figure out a way to have one of these light up and blink and they'll still charge $75 for it!

Be the first to have this innovative alternative to the more expensive ones. Now that was easy!
