Okay, I don't want to even report on this topic but I am so tired of organizations like this and their abuse of the legal system and the media. She's lost custody of her kids and now a pain in the ass animal rights group wants Britney Spears to give up her pets too. Taking a break from the Michael Vick dog fighting scandal, a spokesman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said the group's president has written an open letter to Kevin Federline encouraging him to pursue custody of Spears' animals.
In a letter from PETA Prez Ingrid E. Newkirk, she writes to Fed-Ex: "For the sake of your children and the animals who are at risk while in Ms. Spears' custody, we hope that you will do the right and best thing for all involved and pursue a custody order for the animals so that your sons can continue to have the company of the animals they've grown to adore." PETA is particularly concerned about the welfare of her Yorkshire terrier puppy London, which she takes to nightclubs and shopping malls. PETA fears that the dogs may be in danger. K-Fed must be a big supporter of PETA for them to go to this extent.
Obviously upset over the matter, PETA should take a look at K-Fed. Let's see, he's been with Britney, he' been in Paris. What kind of "fatherly example" is he to these poor defenseless animals. I mean, come on. I don't want to defend Britney here as she's pretty messed up but we do not need to read and hear every little detail about their poor trivial lives! I can’t help but think that there are more important matters for the group to deal with than young stars buying puppies. Don’t thousands of people buy purebread pups every day?
And you know what? The PETA letter makes it unclear to this writer whether they was referring only to canine species or other people surrounding Britney and Kevin. Gosh..it makes me proud to work in Hollywood!
