The DiscoverInsanity Guide To Really Pathetic Criminals
Let's face it folks...criminals suck. It's good when they get caught, better when they get themselves killed. Most of the time we all play along with the belief that our justice system is effective and honest, even as we complain out of the other side of our mouth about celebrity trials, big-money buyoffs, and white-collar prisons. There are some crimes and some criminals that are just so pathetic that they destroy the lives of innocent people for no reason at all. These are the people that make us think twice about capital punishment.
Here in Los Angeles yesterday, a man was killed when he fell while trying to stop a thief from stealing a flatbed truckbut the suspect remained at large and the victim's family asked for the public's help in finding him. Juan Cortes Perez had stopped at a liquor store and apparently left the truck's engine running when he went inside to make a purchase. A store security camera showed him at the store counter and then heading outside when he apparently noticed someone near the 1990 Chevrolet Kodiak with "Johnny's Pallets" painted on the side. Detectives believe the suspect may have wanted to steal the truck for the pallets.
Perez jumped on the side of the truck as the driver sped off and managed to cling to it for nearly a half-mile before he fell off and was run over by the rear wheels - He died at the scene. His daughter, Elizabeth Cortez, told reporters that her father's death "broke the whole family apart. Without my dad, we're nothing." After receiving tips, authorities found the truck without the pallets. Authorities are still looking for this idiot who destroyed a family for a bunch of wooden pallets.
Also this week, yes again in LA, police are searching for a man who hit an 80-year-old man with a stick during an argument inside a Home Depot store in Alhambra and left the victim with a broken hip. Prior to the attack, the victim and the suspect had a brief argument after the suspect cut in front of the victim and others in a customer-service line because he wanted to get some wood cut.
Police released security video of the suspect, who was described as about 50 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He had "graying and balding" hair. He may have fled in a white, newer-model Toyota pickup truck with an extended bed and a black bed liner. For anyone to attack an 80 year old man just because your too damn impatient is pathetic. I hope they find this guy and let the 80-year-old beat him with his cane. How's that for justice!
In my opinion, these guys are lower than low. And most of them are even more stupid than my morning dump. Now here's what I hope the two criminals above decide to do just to give me a good laugh. In western New York, a man faces grand larceny charges after being pulled over in a car that he said he stole so he could turn himself in on another charge. Police said Vincent Estrada was wanted on a family court warrant, and he told deputies he stole the car so he could drive to the Geneva City Police Department to turn himself in.
But he never made it there. Deputies say they arrested him and drove him back to Canandaigua to face the car-theft charges. Now here's the kicker. Sgt. Rick Jaus of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said Estrada came to the Sheriff’s Office and waited in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes before he left. Then, he stole a car from a nearby parking lot and drove away, passing several deputies as they were on their way to work. Deputies reportedly recognized the vehicle and followed him.
My only commentary today to these 2 stupid criminals is this: May you rot in hell! I hope you turn yourself in and they lock you up and throw away the key. Be like the guy in NY and steal a car to turn yourself in...that way we don't have to look for you!
